The Hat Stocking is an interpretation of the stocking illustrated in The Hat by Jan Brett (New York: G.P. Putnam’s Sons, 1997). In the book, the stocking is sported as a hat by a curious hedgehog; in our interpretation, the “hat” has been made into a Christmas stocking, into which you could tuck a copy of The Hat for Christmas morning.
