This is not the official prop replica, but a more wearable and slightly neater looking scarf. To be like the one in the Hobbit, use Stansborough yarn. Whatever you chose, it is a super loose gauge, and will stretch a lot, so the washing and blocking section of the pattern is important.

You must use 100% wool yarn to make this scarf work properly.
