THE LEONARD HAT
I like to think Leonard would appreciate the hipster aesthetic of this super-soft take on a classic ribbed hat. Easy to knit and easy to wear…especially with hoodies and Converse runners, wink wink…The Leonard Hat features a deep ribbed brim and relaxed fit at the crown. Knit in two colours, with simple crown decreases, this hat is perfect for beginners and experts alike. A delightfully soft and squishy unisex hat that goes with pretty much everything—genius!
Leonard is 1 of 9 Hats from The Big Bang Collection, inspired by the iconic TV sit-com.
YARN
Approximately 200 yds (180 m) of a light & lofty aran weight yarn (half in C1 & half in C2). “Blown” or “chainette” style yarns work particularly well to keep The Leonard Hat soft, light, and drapey, as intended.
Shown in Garnstudio DROPS Air.

FIND YOUR PERFECT FIT
The stitch & round multiples on which The Leonard Hat is based are now included in the pattern. For less experienced knitters who want to make a different size, the math is now provided. More experienced knitters can use this same information to make decisions about yarn substitution, gauge etc. I hope this helps empower you to understand your knitting better and to find your perfect fit!
