The Love Sweater is an oversized, cropped pullover with the word “LOVE” worked across the front. This top is a quick and fun knit, made with worsted weight yarn and a simple construction that comes together easily.

Both charted and written instructions are provided for the colorwork section.

Construction and Fit:
Worked flat in pieces and seamed. The neckline is picked up and knit to finish.

The sweater is intended to be worn with positive ease and has drop sleeves (modified drop sleeves for sizes six and seven).

US Size 7 (4.5 mm) and US 8 (5 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE 24” (60 cm) circular or straight needles.
US Size 7 (4.5 mm) 12” (30.5 cm) circular OR double-pointed needles for working the neckline.
Eight stitch markers.
Stitch holders or scrap yarn.
Yarn needle for seaming.

Choosing a Size:
This sweater should be worn with 10-14 inches (25.5-35.5 cm) of positive ease. Measurements provided are the finished measurements of the garment, which means you should choose a size that is 10-14 inches (25.5-35.5 cm) larger than your actual bust size.

Length can easily be modified by working more rows on both sides.
