This hat is knit in the round using DK weight yarn. This is a great pattern for advanced beginners as it uses familiar techniques, as well as techniques that may be new. It was inspired by and designed in Edinburgh, Scotland while I was attending the Edinburgh Yarn Festival. This design is sure to be simple enough for the beginner, yet interesting enough for knitters of all levels!
