Why the name? Because I was able to design and make a good chunk of the hat while waiting for jury duty at the Moultrie Courthouse in Washington DC! This slouch hat works up quickly and looks intricate but is just a combination of single, half double, and double crochet stitches. Instructions for customizing the sizing of the hat are included. The “knitted” design element is the crochet technique of working half double crochet stitches in a manner that results in the look of knitting (pictures and a video link are included).
