This is Stilly River Yarns’ featured knitting pattern for the 2021 Puget Sound Local Yarn Shop Tour! Meredith designed this cowl after being inspired by an old bridge near her home in Pennsylvania - it was burned down during the American Civil War to prevent troop advances, and all that remains is a row of pilings marching across the river. Each piling is surrounded by a small island of trees and shrubs, making a row of little islands of green and brown, texture and shape.
