The Pam Shawl
A Shetland Shawl designed by Gladys Amedro in the 1990s. It is featured as the Philip and Michael Shawl in the books.
The border lace is knit first then the main border is worked for all four sides, the cable sequence then the basket stitch or double moss centre.
The pattern is written using Gladys’ unique abbreviations which are given in the pattern. It is not charted.
You will need 9 x 25g balls of 2ply Lace, shade shown L1
4mm needles - 1 pair striaght or DPNs and circular needles, and a cable needle.
