The Rosefinch Cardigan
Finches are known as a positive and uplifting symbol; as a sign that bright days are on the horizon. Unlike most birds who take the quickest and most efficient route in flight, finches make their journey into a dance, twisting and turning in the air for no purpose other than enjoyment. The peachy, rosy hue of the rosefinch is a favorite of mine and always reminds me of the colors of spring. This oversized yet lightweight cardigan strikes the perfect balance of warmth without being too heavy for sunny days.
Pattern difficulty: Easy/Intermediate (this is a simple garment with basic stitches, but requires some previous knowledge of crocheting including crocheting evenly along the edge of a finished piece and stitching panels together to create a garment)
SIZING: This pattern includes sizing for adult S/M/L and also includes instructions to make it easy to adjust it to any size to create the perfect fit! To adjust the size, you may choose to alter the measurements of each finished piece by a few inches -- you can make the cardigan a bit longer or shorter depending on your height, and you can adjust the width of the pieces if you prefer a more fitted or more oversized look. This is easy to do as the pattern depends on measurements rather than achieving any specific gauge. I like to write my patterns this way so that you have more freedom to make your garment exactly how you want it.
