The Stanley is a long comfy cardigan named after my favorite Knitwear ‘mestra’, Montse Stanley. It will look better in solid colors, that showcase the simplicity of the pattern repeat.

It is knit top-down with raglan stockinette stitch sleeves and it features a meditative tumbling blocks pattern and a single pocket. The v-neck ribbed band is first worked at the neck and sts are picked alongside one of its edges and worked down to the hem.

The pattern includes charts for all sizes and a row-by-row tracker for working the raglan increases.

The Stanley es un cárdigan largo y cómodo que lleva el nombre de mi “maestra” favorita, Montse Stanley. Quedará mucho mejor en colores sólidos, que permiten apreciar el dibujo, simple y geométrico del patrón. Está tejido de arriba hacia abajo con mangas raglán de punto jersey y un motivo de bloques que es tan agradable de tejer como elegante. Lleva un sólo bolsillo, pero puedes añadirle otro fácilmente, replicando las instrucciones en el otro delantero. La tira de botones del escote en pico se teje de arriba hacia abajo junto con el resto de la prenda, al estilo clásico de los cardigans de origen escandinavo. Primero se teje la banda de botones sobre un montado provisional y al terminar de conseguir el largo necesario, se recogen puntos a lo largo de esta tira para construir el raglán.

El patrón incluye gráficos para todas las tallas e instrucciones vuelta a vuelta para trabajar los aumentos de raglán.
