I was browsing through Pinterest when I saw the Owl Pot Trivet from Zelna Olivier of Zooty Owl. I thought it would make a super cute blanket and the Sunshine Owl was born. Zelna has very kindly allowed me to use her design as the inspiration for this afghan.

This afghan is a splash of vibrant colours because I love rainbow blankets - you can’t look at them and not feel happy. As I worked through the blanket, I chose a number of different stitches to add variety and simply because they were cool stitches to use….hope you enjoy making this blanket as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.
