This skirt was designed & constructed to be a pattern that fits EVERY-BODY, regardless of which size you wear or what body shape you have. I’ve always struggled with clothing sizes, particularly for skirts & dresses — as they’re nearly always ill fitted in length or at the waist/hips.

I want to feel GOOD in my clothes. Not UNCOMFORTABLE.

So, since beginning my designer journey this is something I’ve achieved along with creating size inclusive patterns that make everyone feel & look beautiful.

This pattern is written and is designed to be made according to your OWN waist measurement and is also customisable in length and coverage and allows to ensure you have sufficient hip room.

It is written in US TERMS and is suited for advanced beginners. Detailed notes can be found throughout the pattern to walk you through, step-by-step to ensure you make the perfect REGALLY beautiful dress

It uses a 4.5mm hook and worsted weight yarn for the waistband and a 5.5mm hook for the velvet yarn - the yardage will entirely depend on the size you make but you’d approximately need between 75-150YRDS of worsted weight yarn and 300-100YRDS for a skirt that is around mid-thigh to knee length. Or feel free to make it a mini skirt, or even a midi or maxi skirt, let the creativity bloom with you!
