This Warm Hearted Neck Warmer is designed to be quick, easy and cost effective to make the perfect gift for yourself, a loved one or a total stranger!

I wanted the cowl to be suitable for all kinds of gift giving which is why I wanted to keep the pattern price nice and low; the money I make from these patterns I shall be using to make more of these to give to charity organisations.

The cowl is crocheted in the round and therefore has no bulky seams.

At 60cm in diameter it is designed to sit comfortably near to the neck for extra warmth and comfort. This is a practical length as it can easily be pulled over the head without messing up your hair and isn’t too bulky and heavy around your neck.

I have crocheted a few of these cowl already and used different types of DK - I found that yarns with lots of loft work the best. You will need 100 metres of the main colour and approximately 50 metres of the contrast colour. Making the Warm Hearted Neck Warmer a great stash buster too!
