The Wedge is an easy double crochet shawl with an interesting shape designed to use one cake of Caron Colorama Halo Perfect Phasing bulky weight yarn.

Skills needed: chain and double crochet in US terms.

Yarn: Bulky weight (category 5): 481 yards (440 m)

1 skein of Caron Colorama Halo yarn (71% acrylic, 18% nylon, 11% polyester; 481 yards (440 m) per 227-gram skein). The sample shawl used 1 skein of Caron Colorama Halo yarn in the Orchid Frost colorway.

Hook: 10 mm

Finished size: About 70 inches long and 46 inches wide at the widest point (178 cm by 117 cm)

The shawl is worked in rows of double crochet stitches in US terms, increasing by one stitch per row.
