Thea Scarf
Thea was born out of my curiosity, I wanted to see how a cable pattern and lace weight yarn would work together. As you can see, perfectly!
The scarf is worked flat, in one piece, from bottom border to top border.

Finished size (blocked) 
Width: approx. 28.75 cm / 11.5” 
Length: approx. 168 cm / 67.25” 
Size is adjustable
Yarn / yardage 
 
100 g / 700 m / 760 yds, 2 skeins of mYak Baby Yak Lace yarn, 100% Baby Yak, in Mustard colourway, approx. 50 g / 350 m / 380 yds per skein.
Needles 
 
3.5 mm / US 4 or size needed to obtain gauge, 60-80 cm / 24-32” long circular needle or 30-35 cm / 12-14” long single-point knitting needles, 
2 cable needles
 
 
Notions 
 
4 stitch markers
 
row counter
 
tape measure
 
blunt tapestry needle
 
blocking pins, wires, and mats (not required, but would be useful)
Gauge 
26.75 sts and 36.5 rows = 10 cm / 4” over Cable pattern on 3.5 mm / US 4 needle. Measurement taken from blocked fabric, flattened but unstretched. Gauge is not crucial on this project, but note that size and yardage will be affected when working in a different gauge.
