This vest is knit in-the-round until the armhole, then the stitches are divided and knit back and forth on the circular needle until reaching the shoulders, which are knit together to bind them off.

gauge of 5 stitches=1”

US #7 (or size needed to achieve gauge) circular needle 24-32”
US #5 circular needle 24-32”
US #5 circular needle 16”
darning needle
16” or longer stitch holder OR extra circular needle smaller than #7 (to hold half the sts of the vest)
6 - 2 ended stitch holders
Two length 24” smooth waste yarn
