Vintage buffalo plaid is back in style! This headband/ear warmer pattern is unique in that it uses super bulky yarn, making it not only thick and warm, but so quick that it can be crocheted in less than an hour.

Materials used in the pattern are Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick yarn; however, any super bulky #6 weight yarn can be used. Three coordinating colors are used, using less than one skein of each color, US size N (10mm) crochet hook, yarn needle and scissors.

This pattern is written for one size, and will fit a teen or adult with a 21-23” head circumference.

The skill level is advanced beginner/intermediate and the detailed instructions include photos for clarification of changing colors. I am also available by email for any questions you may have, as I want you to be happy with your purchase.

The headband is worked in horizontal rounds, carrying over yarn colors without cutting.
