Nicknamed America’s Third Coast, Michigan has more miles of freshwater shoreline than any other state in the US. With water in nearly every direction, you’re never far from time well spent at the water. Third Coast is inspired by East Coast sensibilities with a Midwest spin - perfect for a breezy stroll down one of the many rocky or sandy beaches at sunset.

Knit seamlessly from the top down in a hardy yarn, with a relaxed fit and a split hem, this pullover is easy to throw on when the wind picks up across the water. The traditional nautical stripes are broken up with the simplest 1x1 color rows that blend together like waves mingling with rocks on the beach.

Chest/Bust: 36.75(40.25, 43.75, 48.25, 53.5, 56.25, 59.75, 64.25, 67.75) inches / 93.5(102, 111, 122.5, 136, 143, 152, 163, 172) cm
Length (from collar to back hem): 28.25(29, 30.75, 30.75, 31.25, 30.75, 32.5, 32.5, 32.5) inches / 72(73.5, 78, 78, 79.5, 78, 82.5, 82.5, 82.5) cm

Construction method: This pullover is worked in one piece from the top down. The collar is cast on provisionally, worked in ribbing and folded, knitting together with the cast on edge to create a double folded collar. The yoke is worked top down, side to side, then separated for the body and sleeves, which are all worked in the round. Stripes include simple colorwork on the sleeves and torso. The bottom hem is split with the front and back worked separately, and with the back longer than the front.
