This Charming Boy Baby Blanket
My little sister is having her first baby and so of course I had to design something especially for the little dude. (We know she’s having a boy).
As she lives in a pretty cold climate, I wanted to make a nice snugly woollen blanket for when they’re out and about walking. There are no holes for little fingers and toes to get caught up in and it’s much the same on both sides.
I used lovely organic wool made here in Australia from Australian Organic Wool (also known as Woolganics). My blanket is about 70cm x 95cm (27.5” x 37.5”approx.)
The pattern is available in both UK & US terms.
I think this pattern is easy enough for beginners with a simple 4 row pattern repeat and a lovely easy border that finishes the blanket off nicely.
