This is a simple design with delicate features that renders the design an instant classic. I’ve incorporated the garter stitch both horizontally and vertically with a new twist to your traditional cable.

I have included a small baby blanket size as well as a throw. However, the pattern is easily adaptable for any size.

Note on yardage: Most knitters should be able to finish the blanket with the number of skeins listed. However, should your gauge vary from the pattern you might require an extra skein.
