Pattern uses Foundation Single Crochet to begin item.
If you would like to change the width of the cowl, you need to increase or decrease by a count of 3. Depending on how tightly you crochet, it takes approximately 6 fsc for an inch. One skein of Sateen Worsted will make a cowl that is 30” cir. by 5” width.
Two skeins of Sateen Worsted will make a cowl that is 71” cir. by 5” width.
