Three Tiered Dress
Where’s the first place you’re going when this lock down is over? I’m going to the beach! And if any bars are open, I can go from the beach to a night out in my Three Tiered Dress. This knitting pattern is as fun to make as it is to wear! It’s worked all in one piece, from the bottom-up. No seaming required!
The A-line shape is flattering on all figures and the dense, linen stitch bodice means you can go braless with no peek-a-boobies. How does this pattern achieve the pleated look you see at the top of each tier? Well it uses a nifty way to decrease using a cable needle! All instructions to make the pleats are in the pattern but I’d say its solidly an intermediate pattern.
You’ll need about 650 yards of a worsted/aran weight yarn like Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran, a cable needle and a stitch marker to mark the beginning of rounds is optional. I especially found the marker helpful for the first few rows after I switched from working in the round to working flat.
The pattern contains:
-Full list of materials
-Gauge and sizing information
-Instructions for the unique cable decrease pleats
-Step by step written instructions to create the dress in sizes S-XL
-Size diagram
-Extra product photos
