Thyme Dishcloth
A free version is also available.
Thyme Dishcloth is a lovely addition to a farmhouse style kitchen. It’s worked sideways, using only knit and purl stitches to create a leaflike, reversible texture.
Instructions for an optional hanging loop included.
This pattern has been tech edited and test knit!
Sizes
One size - width 18 cm (7”), length 18 cm (7”)
Materials
yarn: 35 m (40 yds) of Paris, Drops - 100% cotton, 75 m (82 yds) per 50g, or similar worsted / Aran weight (category 4 - medium) yarn. Sample worked in colorway 17 (off-white).
needles: 5 mm (US 8) straight or circular needles 80 - 100 cm (32 - 40”), or to fit gauge
other: tapestry needle, row counter (recommended, not required)
Gauge
17 stitches x 21 rows in 10x10 cm (4x4”) in leaf stitch, blocked
