The Tiberius socks are named after Captain James Tiberius Kirk. They are straight shooting socks, just like our favorite Star Fleet captain, using Japanese eyelets and twisted rib. If you prefer a more “manly” sock with less hole-y-ness, you can knit the yarnovers through the back on the following round to close them up. I think they’d be perfect socks for space exploration.
