Tidepools
Riversong
Where salt and sand and air do meet,
and seaweed fronds in tidepools greet,
I rush on by, against the tide
and lose myself into the wide,
a deep blue cove at ocean’s door,
but there I become so much more!
From mountains bare
some parts of me
have come down here
to be the sea.
