This is the last sock of a year-long “Club” of patterns. The entire collection includes 12 sock patterns (plus a few bonus items), representative of different world cities. Skill-level: Intermediate— twisted stitches, lace, and sock construction.
Yarn: 350-400 yards of sock yarn. The socks pictured are a large size and used approximately 385 yards of Louhittaren Luola Väinämöinen in the color “Magenta.”
Needles: US1 (2.25mm) sock needles, the pattern is written for both DPNs and Magic Loop.
Tools: tape measure, scissors, tapestry needle
Gauge: 8 stitches and 12 rounds per inch (2.5cm) worked in stockinette.
Sizing: Small (Medium, Large, Extra-large sizes measure approximately 8(9,10,11) inches in circumference, all other measurements are adjustable to size and preference.
Note on sizing: The pattern has a standard fit, similar to a stockinette sock.
