It all started from this yarn. I knew I wanted to knit something simple, but with cables. And I guess I’m kind of addicted to using diamond-shape in my patterns.

Tiina is just a simple cable hat. Worked in flat. No decreasing or increasing. Just some cables. Knit a rectangle, sew edges together, pull the top together and that’s it!

After finishing the hat, I asked my five-year-old daughter what I should call it. She said: Tiina. Because it’s such a pretty name.
