The Tillage pullover features bold cable panels and plenty of gansey inspired texture. In DK weight, worsted spun Arbor yarn, the stitches remain crisp and elastic, adding to the sweater’s wearability. With spare shaping and instructions for two different collars and hems, Tillage has all the makings of a favorite sweater for any style preference.

Construction

• This garment is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up, then seamed together. The collar is picked up and worked circularly after garment is assembled.
• The Hi-Lo Hem and Traditional Hem versions share identical upper body and sleeves; only the hems are worked differently.
• There are two options for finishing the neck; a funnel neck (shown in the Hi-Lo Hem version) and a folded neckband (shown in the Traditional Hem version).
• The Sloped Bind Off is used at the top sleeve edges.

• 11 (13, 14, 15, 17, 18) skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Arbor (100% American Targhee Wool; 145 yards/50 grams)

• One pair of straight needles or a 32” circular needle and one 16” circular needle, three sizes smaller than Size A
