This vest is worked back and forth from the bottom up, with the front and back worked separately.
The shoulders are shaped using short rows.
After the body is seamed, the neckband and armbands are picked up and worked in 1×1 ribbing in the round.

A(Bust): 98 (104, 108) cm / 38.5 (41, 42.5) inches
B(Back shoulder width): 38 (40, 42) cm / 15 (15.75, 16.5) inches
C(length):54 (59, 63.5) cm / 21.25 (23.25, 25) inches
Shown in size M (women ) with 15 cm / 6 inches of positive
ease at the bust, and in size LL (men) with 13 cm / 5 inches of positive ease at the bust.

Yarn
Aran weight yarn,
approx 500 (575, 645) meters / 545 (630, 705) yards.
Sample yarn used:
Rowan Felted Tweed Aran
(50% Wool, 25% Alpaca, 25% Rayon ; 87 m / 50 g)
Size M: Color 719, 6 balls
Size LL: Color 759, 8 balls
Recommended Needles
JPN #7 / 4.2 mm knitting needles (larger needle)
JPN #6 / 3.9 mm knitting needles and circular needle or
a set of DPNs (smaller needle)
Or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions
JPN #6/0 / 3.5 mm crochet hook (for shoulder seam)
Stitch markers, locking stitch marker, stitch holder or waste yarn
GAUGE
With larger needle: 17.5 sts / 24 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in stockinette stitch
