If you don’t have any self-striping sock yarn you could use up some 4ply/fingering weight scraps in various colours.

This pattern has both a chart and written instructions for the lace section.

260yds / 238m 4ply / fingering weight yarn.

2.5mm / US1.5 DPNs or long circular needle for magic loop
3 stitch markers.
