Tiny Bunny Baby Blanket is a fun and colorful project that knitters will enjoy and that will keep your little ones warm. It’s made using 3 main colors and several contrasting colors, to create stripes of tiny bunny heads. It is recommended to use DK weight yarn, but can be made using any yarn weight you want, and bonus points for using leftover or scrap yarns, as long as they all have the same gauge! The finished blanket will be as colorful as you want it to be, with a cute slip-stitch pattern that is easy to create, and will be warm and cozy without being too stretchy as the slip-stitch pattern will keep its shape without stretching.

Dimensions and yardage
This blanket can be made as big or small as desired. You can cast on any number of stitches to achieve the perfect size for you, and you can work as many rows as you want.

The pattern is intended for 3 main colors and an unlimited number of contrasting colors, but don’t feel limited by this suggestion! If you’re using full skeins, maybe they are all so beautiful that they should be the main color at some point? If you decide to change the number of main colors, make sure to make a swatch and calculate how many rows of each color you need to work to achieve the length you are aiming at.

Difficulty
Intermediate - the pattern is simple enough for a beginner (knit, purl, slip, and only one color used on each row), but the slip stitch pattern can make it hard to maintain a consistent tension over the whole blanket. Make sure to make a generous swatch and to use a tension that is comfortable for you.
