Tiny Piggy
Oink oink! This Tiny Piggy is a quick little knitting project to use up odds and ends of yarn to avoid waste. Make pigs for bag charms, key chains, or just for fun! Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the pig is knitted in a few grammes of acrylic DK yarn on single pointed needles (not in the round).
NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).
RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in Pink.
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, felt fabric and black embroidery thread for eyes.
SIZES
One size only - 4cm tall.
TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and a little seaming to finish.
