Tioga
The Old Farmers Almanac is predicting a colder-than-usual winter this year, so warm scarves are definitely on the to-knit list.
The Tioga scarf is knitted in the round for extra warmth (and the color floats are on the reverse side are hidden, a little bonus!). A neutral background sets off the squares of color; this is a great project to practice Fair Isle to and use up those odds and ends that you just can’t part with.
This can be made as an infinity scarf by using a provisional cast on, omitting the ribbing at each end, and grafting the ends together.
The finished scarf is approximately 62” long and 16” in circumference after blocking.
