From Knitting for Baby: These mittens are sure to keep toddlers' hands toasty during cold weather. The floral or moon-and-stars embroidery is optional, as is the I-cord that connects the mittens and, ideally, keeps them together when it's run through the sleeves of a jacket. ... We give instructions for working these mittens in the round on double-pointed needles or back and forth on single-pointed needles.
