Tomas Unisex Cardigan

This is the ultimate unisex cardigan, in a classic granddad cut with a cool collar and an interesting cable pattern. Worked in two strands Shetlands wool held together, so the result is a thick and very warm cardigan, that you can use as a jacket far into autumn.

Gauge 17 sts and 26 rows in seed stitch on needle size 4½ mm = 10 x 10 cm
23-24 sts in back patterns 1+ cm in width on needle size 4½ mm.

Recommended circular needles size 4 and 4½ mm, length 80 cm.

Procedure
The back and front pieces are knitted separately, with seams at the shoulders and sides. The sleeves are knitted from the armhole down to the wrist. The garment is worked back and forth, with seam at each side. The pattern panels are combinations of easy cables, and moss stitch. Sleeves are worked from the top and down, adjustable to desired length.
