The Top Bunk Hat is currently a camper exclusive pattern for the Salish Sea and Sky Retreat happening in Squim, Washington. This spectacular weekend is an annual camping experience for fiber artists who enjoy unstructured time, good company, and the meditative quiet of big trees and close water.

This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up with decreases incorporated into the stitch pattern. Decreases are rapid to create shape and volume at the crown.

The stitch pattern is rhythmic and predictable with lots of rest rounds. We all need a camp knitting project.
