This bag is worked from the top down, starting with the strap. Once the strap is complete, stitches for the top of the bag are cast on from one end of the strap. The opposite end of the strap is then attached and the remaining stitches for the top of the bag are cast on. The top edge is then joined to work in the round for the body of the bag. The bottom is seamed with the three-needle bind off. There is no finishing except for weaving in a few yarn tails!
