Torc & Knot Sock
The Celtic Lover’s knot is one of my favorites, I couldn’t resist putting it on a sock to include in the Happy Trails Socks book. Lots of raised texture & twisted rib, chart reading skills necessary.
I included the bottom photo of some carved stone slabs that I took in the Hebrides because I’m so influenced by them whenever I do any kind of cabled or knotwork knitting design.
Happy Trails Socks was a booklet available when Happy Trails yarn was in full production from the Wooly West. The yarn is now discontinued and the book is out of print.
