“This stranded colourwork cardigan was inspired by blue china plates - the classic willow pattern design is a favourite of mine,” says Mary Henderson. The body of her cardigan is knitted flat in rows; the sleeves are worked in the round, then joined to the body to work the yoke, which is knitted flat. The neckband, button bands and cuffs are knitted in moss stitch.
