Tortoise and Hare gauntlets
Tortoise and Hare Gauntlets
Aesops fable of the Tortoise and the Hare assumed a singular importance for me while learning how to manage the disabling effects of the stroke which I suffered in 2010. I originally knitted these gauntlets back then, and have re-released the pattern to celebrate the launch of my book Handywoman, in which I write about my stroke and the importance of knitting in my new creative life.
Handywoman is now available for preorder
from the KDD shop. All book preorders include a complementary download of this pattern.
