This pattern is made to measure meaning you can use any hook, any weight yarn, and don’t have to match my gauge. Counting rows and stitches (outside of your foundation chain) is super boring, so I don’t make you do that, either. Just measure this baby as you go and your fit will come out right. If you’re looking to make a keepsake soft enough to wear right next to baby skin, go for the Biscotte DK pure. (Warning: this yarn may make you jealous of the baby. You might need to order enough for yourself, too.) This pattern is particularly geared towards people who have never made a garment or, at least, never made one that fit right.
