I named this pattern after my daughter Tracey as she suggested me to design a dress with a matching hat the way she used to wear it as a little girl.

DESIGNER’S NOTE :
When casting on use the long tail method as it is easy to weave in all tails when finished . The pattern includes knitting instructions for a dress , matching hat and panties . The dress knit in 1 piece until armhole division with 3 buttons at the back closure . The slightly puffy set in sleeves gives it a cute look . The hat has a small frilly brim with a back seam . Panties seamed . Very easy and quick to knit . You can also reduce the garter hem and stockinette rows before the 1st buttonhole row if you would like a knee length or shorter dress .

SUPPLIES NEEDED :
- Any Double Knit Weight 3 . ( Please check your gauge ) .
I used Summer Breeze by Stylecraft x 70 gm as main colour and Stylecraft Special Double Knit as contrast colour 25 gm

• Size 3.75 mm ( US 5 ) straight knitting needles .
• Size 3.50mm ( US 4 ) straight knitting needles for panties .
• 3 Buttons
• Row counter
• Tapestry needle
