Traditional Mitered Square
A free version is also available.
This classic mitered square pattern creates a beautiful perfect square. It’s easy enough for a beginner knitter to master.
The mitered square is knit by casting on two sides of the square then working a series of decreases in the middle of the row. The squares are great alone for a washcloth, or lovey. But you can also combine them to create beautiful blankets or ponchos.
