The technique for creating this type of teacosy is well known so I don’t claim to have invented anything new, but several people asked me how I made it and wanted to know precisely how many stitches I cast on and so on. Given that it took a fair bit of trial and error to get the size right for my four-cup teapot I figured that publishing the pattern could save others the same trouble!
