Yarn: 1 skein of Knit by Numbers DK by John Arbon Textiles (50% Bluefaced Leicester, 50% Falklands Merino, 255 yds / 233 m – 100 g), colorway KBN04.

3, 3, 3 (4, 4, 4) skeins (each different) of Knit by Numbers DK Minis by John Arbon Textiles (50% Bluefaced Leicester, 50% Falklands Merino, 63 yds / 58 m – 25 g), colorways KBN70, KBN19, KBN100 and KBN81.

Note: If you are doing all 4 stripes in the same color, you only need 1 mini.

Suggested Alternatives: Kokon “DK Merino” and “DK Mini”, Kim Dyes Yarn “Brioche DK” and “DK Minis”.

Or approx. the following yardages in DK-weight yarn or any yarn with which you obtain gauge:

CONSTRUCTION

Trail Marker is a pair of ribbed fingerless mitts, knit from bottom up in 1 x 1 rib pattern with stockinette stitch thumb. Knit in the round with increasing thumb gusset, the thumb separated from hand to be picked up and knit at the end.
