Materials
MC - Natural Star Yarn - 100g 4ply/fingering in NZ
100% Merino or 100g 4ply/fingering in NZ Sock yarn.
Approximately 357m/390yds.
CC - Natural Star Yarn - 35g 4ply/fingering in NZ
100% Merino or 35g 4ply/fingering in NZ Sock yarn.
Approximately 124m/135yds.
4mm/US 6 circular needle or a pair of 4mm/US 6
straight needles.
Cable needle
2 stitch markers.
A blocking mat and pins for blocking.

Abbreviations
C6B - slip next 3 stitches onto cable needle and hold at back of work, work next 3 stitches off left hand needle, then knit the next 3 stitches off the cable needle, CC - contrast colour, k - knit, k2tog - knit the next 2 stitches together, kfab - knit into the front and the back of the next stitch, MC - main colour, p - purl, p2tog - purl
the next 2 stitches together, pm - place marker, rep - repeat,
sm - stitch marker, som - slip over marker to the other needle, st(s) - stitch(es), yo - yarn over.
