Pattern notes
Shawl is worked flat using long circular needles to accommodate size and weight. Refer to Knitting Charts 1-2 or written instructions for lace patt. First st of every row is sl wyif to provide attractive edge with sufficient stretch for robust blocking. RCO method creates stretchy cast off enabling robust blocking. In RCO, if preferred, instead of k2, slip both sts back to left needle and k2tog tbl; k2, put left needle into front of the two sts on right needle and knit tog for same result.
