These socks feature sinuous mirrored cables running down the front, and ribbing around for a snug, stay-up fit. These cables are intricate enough for accomplished knitters, and easy enough for adventurous beginners or those new to cabling.
Finished Size: S (M, L) 7” (8”, 9” around), unstretched
Yarn: Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Sock, 100% Superwash Merino, 400 yards/4 ounces (Sample knit in Sandtown-Winchester)
Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or two circular needles size 2 US (2.75 mm), or size to obtain gauge. Each knitter is different!
Gauge: 8 stitches per inch in stockinette, knit in the round.
Note: Amount of yarn used will depend upon which size you choose to knit, and how long your foot is. I am able to get a men’s size 12 sock, large size, from one skein of the yarn used for this pattern.
