Traveling Hood
This hood takes two yarns to create a fluid-like distribution of colors and textures. A rectangle is worked in sections of stockinette stitch with the smooth, solid yarn and sections of short rows in garter stitch with long color repeat bouclé yarn. Mapped in this pattern is one combination of section order; however, you can work the sections (odd-numbered sections) in whatever order you desire as long as each section is worked once in the piece. Keep in mind that if you stack your sections in groups around the same stitch marker, your stripes will stack as well.
