This bookmark ended up long and skinny - and while I prefer short and wide bookmarks, my DH likes longer ones. He wants a bit of bookmark sticking out both ends… I suppose this is the difference between someone who shelves her books and someone who piles them up on the bedside table. You could, of course, make it shorter by knitting fewer repeats (actually, I’m a bit embarrassed for pointing that out), and wider either by doubling the pattern repeat or by adding more “fluff”. I could have also blocked it more heavily than I did!
